Welcome to the Wyoming Valley Homebrewers Club

We are an AHA (http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/) registered homebrew club based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. We meet to discuss homebrew methods and ideas, sample homebrew, host club picnics, participate in homebrew contests, promote homebrew, and raise money for charity.

Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 7pm, unless that Monday falls on a holiday then we meet the following Monday. Our hosts have been Sabatini's in Exeter (directions). Check for meeting/events on our calendar

Mike Sexton's Black IPA Recipe

If you were lucky enough to grab a pint of Mike Sexton's award winning Black IPA at Sabatini's Pizza or at Bethlehem Brew Works you know it's a great beer. However, if one glass just did not satisfy your thirst, Mike has been kind enough to give us the recipe.
Mike's beer was brewed at Bethlehem Brew Works after he submitted his unique entry to the Fegley's Brew Works "Brewer for a Day" contest. Mike's beer was judged the best of all beating out more than 60 other entries.
Fegley's kegged the beer and sent a few up to Sabatini's where the locals got a chance to enjoy this very full bodied, flavorful beer.
